A travel writer is drawn into a tangled mess of secrets and betrayals while battling his childhood drama.

This is a very nice spy novel, fun, witty, and the main character turns out to be lovable.

Four stars, but I might regret not giving it a fifth.

This is also the 80th book I have finished in 2024. There might still be time for a 81st.
