Cycling Around Ottawa. Episode 5. the Experimental Farm Loop

This is a 25 Km ride from Centretown. The last 1.8Km of the climb are, for me, the closest I’ve ever been to an aneurism.

Gatineau Park is a natural park on the Quebec side, and roads are closed for traffic for most of the day in spring/summer/fall, which means it is a perfect destination for folks that like to ride their bikes for sport.

If you are so inclined, the climb to Pink Lake is just the beginning of “The Gatineau Park Loop”, which is something I’ll never be able to do myself. So I won’t even bother mentioning it here.
